They live in possibly the most remote house in Wales

The good thing about carrying a pillion is the gates:thumb

A great day:)
The End.

If you google "Piss off Biggles" you get the full but slightly inaccurate story, of how my mate became pissed off with low flying planes using his house as a marker in this empty valley:D

Nice report. We're off to Wales this weekend for a weekend of riding. Staying near Ellesmere, wherever that is.:D:beerjug:

Shropshire, very pretty:thumb

Yep, looking forward to it if the weather stays good.:augie The plan is to do Snowdonia and the Beacons while we're there if we get time (2 nights/ 3 days rid in).:thumb

Your mate's not Mark Williams by any chance is he? ;)

His gaff is just how I pictured Mark's when reading about the goings on at the secluded Welsh farmhouse he stayed at for a while :)

wossit Tom Jones sang about?
ahh - the 'green green grass of home' :D

Great pictures, looks like a great ride just to get to his house!.
Knowing pilots as I do, the 'piss off biggles' sign would only encourage the buggers, One of my friends burnt a 40 ft cock and balls into the grass outside of one of our HAS buildings using old jet fuel (I know, he would quite rightly be skinned by the puritan vege folk knowadays). anyway, the amount of low passes by the tornados and visiting Hawks over that particular area increased ten fold!

After several letters of complaint to the MoD, he was asked to provide photographic evidence. Of course this is pretty impossible since a Tornado's a mile away by the time he could run outside.

Walking down his track one day I caught him trying to come up with a solution. He had an Airfix model on a piece of wire and was trying to position the camera to give the impression of a Tornado brushing the top of his roof:D

See ... if you had a 1200 you'd have had the confidence to do away with a recce altogether ... :tarka :D

Giles....:dabone
