K???

Trying to determine what model designation my bike is...
Its a 2010 R1200gs, I aint that stoooopid.... but for example my previous bike,RT, was a K26 and I need to know what K number this one is.
I havent got the V5 back yet, I assume its on there?

K25 (R 1200 GS)   (12/2002 — 12/2012)
K25 (R 1200 GS Adventure)   (03/2005 — 07/2013)

If it's a GS single or twin cam the number is K25, an Adventure single or twin cam is K255. Water cooled GS is K50 and a wc Adventure is K51. These numbers are BMW internal references and will not be on the V5. Have a look at the MAX BMW website, lots of useful information, exploded drawings and part numbers.Alan

It's a GS but the insurance people have it down as 'GSA 30 year anniversary' model..

Strangely my 2010 GSA was listed as a 30 year anniversary model, so I told them it wasn't. Not that it would have made much difference I suspect. All the insurance companies get the model details from a database somewhere, so I assume a human error listed everything made in 2010 as a 30ya. Alan
