Anyone out there who came make me a complete set of K1 decals in Silver?

It's a black Bike - with silver wheels and engine etc.

Looks like this - A photos I got from the web - not mine but mine is the same, (but with different colour seat), but no photo yet

Obviously without the Ferrari emblem

Agree

If it hasn't got :ymca silver lettering then I'd say it's good :D

It needs the outrageous yellow bevel box, driveshaft and gearbox to be a proper K1

has to have a bit of yellow..;)

I did not want a red/yellow or blue/yellow bike

Mine is just "plain jane Black"

They do go well compared with any R Bike - in a different league

performance plus refinement - I just cannot see why I did not buy one years ago

It is the first K Bike that I have had

Wait till ya do a hundred miles and then try to get your feet out from behind the fairing!

If you have size 7's or excellent calf circulation you may survive?

Otherwise add a Remus and a Chip and a K & N and they become VERY uncivilized!

Much to the annoyance of the Rice Burner Brigade ! :augie :augie :augie

I really like it in that black.....makes it look so much more modern- it could almost be a new model, but the yellow/blue red ones , though still lovely lookers, are dated by the colours .

Funny old world isn't it...Rob Farmer, ex heavy biker, calling someone :ymca because of the colour of a sticker on their bike :blast

:D :D :D

:hide

Thanks Jaythro

The Bike has a non BMW exhaust - PO changed silencer when OEM exhaust "cracked"

Where do I get the chip and K & N from

The ABS light is flashing - There is a small "tool" on EBay, (from Germany), that reads and resets the ABS etc., - have you had any experience of such - here

"In accordance to the BMW maintenance plan it is necessary to read out the ABS and Motronic memory every 10,000 km / 6,000 miles."

Put a piece of wire to the centre pin (HAve to verify this one to be sure to be sure) on the diagnostic plug and make a Good earth to the chassis with the other end

then switch on ignition

press and hold ABS switch for 30 seconds then release

Switch off ignition

Turn on ignition what happens?

It's probably ABS I It's quite a dated system now and quite slow to react in comparsison to ABS II but sure as hell beats going down cos ya locked up with a panic brake
