If any of the local Fifers know an owner around Woodside, Glenrothes or perhaps towards Leven...can you have a word?
Our man on (I think) a K1100RT/LT decided to take the road from Woodside, Glenrothes to the Leven Road at about 12.55.
There is the little matter of a large 3 lane roundabout between the two:
Coming along the road at the bottom right, he took to the wrong side of the 'island' and continued along Johnny-Foreigner style, hugging the kerb on his right.
At this time, our gormless learner driver is doing his best to stay within the lane markings, happy that he's managed to make a good decision to get going out onto the roundabout coming from the 'top'. I grabbed the wheel about where the truck is shown on the roundabout. Our learner then froze. I'd to neatly avoid the clown on the K and got a raised hand as he continued around to the A911 on the wrong side. Didn't stop, but he stopped 6 vehicles!
I'm now a bit pissed that he didn't get couped off it - I could have had a few spares for mine!
But WTF? It's an orange-bronze bike, on UK plates. Today he's Mr.Lucky.
