k1100lt fuel gauge

Hello all is there a replacement fuel gauge for my k1100lt bmw , mine shows empty when its on a full tank any help please im using the trip meter for the time being

You will need to check if it is the sender unit in the tank or the gauge . Second hand gauges are available for about £30 off eBay a sender unit will cost you about £50

I agree with David , I had one showing full all of the time and it was just "dirty" connections on the plug behind the gauge

Does the low fuel warning light still work ?... if so save your money and fill when the light comes on.

For 6 years the K series didn't have a fuel gauge just a fuel warning light and everyone managed without any problems.
