Hi BMW types,

I have a wonderful, 2005 K12S with no EAS option. I'm not an expert on suspension as the following will attest :-)

I've set the 'front knob' to the middle setting as per the manual
I weigh in at around 19 stone (Big Guy)
The bike is super comfy but won't tip into corners at all well - I really have to counter-steer enourmously to get it to drop.

Is this a feature of duolever or do I need to change the suspension at the back too? What would be a good setting for a fat lad with no luggage? (By this I'm afraid I do mean 'how many turns of the screwdriver from, say, fully Soft'?")

Sorry to be such a dorf!

Don't kno if this will be much help but I reckon if you lift the back end up higher (preload higher) then you'll get a faster turn-in. I have the ESA on mine and I have that set to rider plus luggage and that seems to work well and I'm the same weight as you.

Alternatively Sandbar http://www.sandbarcomposites.co.uk/...hp?PHPSESSID=5614e35f478e00e43eb9a642117dad9a sell a dogbone which improves turn-in by raising the rear ride height.
