I wonder how they are like in strong winds?
Last night on the M4 was foul with heavy rain and very strong winds.
One chap on a 1200GT was very gingerly riding at sub 50mph.
I'd love a 1300GT but wife found 1200 frighteningly quick and did not like pillion being so high up into the blast.
I rode one last week, incredibly easy to ride with a lovely spread of power. ESA 2 is superb and does much more than just adjust the spring rate. Arse ached after a couple of hours and after the GS I found my legs to be a little cramped. Aftermarket seat and a play with h/bar position should sort that.
IMHO it's worth 2k more than the pan (I ride one at work), more refined and much better specced as well as being more fun to ride.
But is it worth 13 1/2k? Thats the dilema I face, I really want one, I love my GSA but it feels very agricultural next to the GT.
Next step is get the wife on the back, if she gives thumbs up better start caning the O/T!
I'm going to try and get down to CW at some point and try the K1300S and GT,though it's the S that interests me most.
Don't do it dude - BM in line fours are over-priced and under performing pieces of cool marketing. If you want substance..well ..u know the answer![]()

I could not really see myself blasting down to spain on my GSA or GS a bit slow and lumpy for the job.
