Had a K1200S when they first came out.

Both good bikes, but the Hayabusa has the crown in my book. The early Gen1s were such a huge step forward as a sports touring performance package. Each to their own though.

So far I have managed to resist a Gen3 'Busa as I suspect the risk of losing my licence to drive/ride could prove a spoiler these days.

I've never ridden anything that powerful, but yes a bike that will probably break the motorway speed limit in first gear and won't even start to feel unsettled this side of 120mph... it must be pretty hard to stop the speed just creeping up.
