So, I bought some rear led indicators for my 2010 K1300S, as I had some on my 2009 K1300R (which I sold). I read that it was just a case of having motoscan and activating the option 'LED_KL58R_OUTPUT'

Now, got the motoscan recommended uniscan to connect to the bike, paid for ultimate and there is no option 'LED_KL58R_OUTPUT' - does anyone have any idea what/how you go about coding the led rear indicators?

I am assuming it is under the ZFE section -> Coding -> 'some option'

Any help greatly appreciated.

Cheers

If the bike did not have a factory option for LED indicators there is no reason for that option to be present in the ZFE. Did you get the "LED_KL58R_OUTPUT" option info on a K1300S specific reference?

It's hard to find any concrete evidence of it, but considering the K1300R definitely had it as an option and the K1300S is essentially the same bike in different clothing and I found a post of some guy in 2018 said he did all of what I just asked about on his K1300S, I would say it should be possible but he also mentions the option of 'select zfe scroll to LED Low consumption KL58R and choose aktiv/active", which isn't really that specific and I can't find anything that resembles this. However, the lack of options on motoscan lead me to believe that I can't actually do this......bit of a disappointment really.

Will have another look and try some different options tomorrow evening - otherwise I will just try and get some that will work with the canbus current detectors!

There are no CAN bus current detectors. The CAN bus does data comms amongst the various controllers. It is the ZFE that manages chassis electrics.
