She`s always been more interested in what I do with it once it`s out. Good Northern Lass you see ,although it took a while to explain the steam clean and acf50 treatment as it didn`t seem to appear on any of the websites she frequents

The offside wing mirror support has worked loose. Disgraceful on a premium priced vehicle from a market leader.

I would guess that the retaining bolt has backed off a couple of threads. Not far, but given the length of the support, enough to change the angle of the mirror considerably. I say guess, as I haven't yet got around to dismantling the front fairing to get at the nut.

I had that - noticed and replaced (free) at service.

But wing mirror working lose? Sheeeet, this is serious. Must sell it quick. As you say, bloody disgraceful for a premium motorcycle, no wonder BMW can't sell any bikes.......

The mirror stem support is a curious fitment. New mirror required.
