Afternoon peeps.
Seen a couple of threads on the Forum about heated seats, but usually they are for more modern steeds, and did ask my question in one of those threads, but maybe no one has seen it or no one is responding.
Was wondering if anyone has any advice on heated seat systems for the 2013 last of the oilheads - mine is a 1200 GSA. I expect that there are plenty of after market brands out there, but not really finding them for sale anywhere. I also believe BMW did a seat, but again finding them now 12 yeas later is needle in haystack time.
The other option I wondered about was an Oxford Heated Seat Cover, which just sits on top of the bike seat, c.£70.00. Anyone got any comments on these!
Thank you for reading.

I gave up looking - all I could find were Wunderlich ones at top dollar for rider and passenger and a very long lead time, made to order.

Good luck and watching with interest !

My 2013 RT had a heated seat. Was than an option on the gsa also? Id have thought so? Check the loom for a connector. If it's there then someone may have a seat?

RT & GS seats are worlds apart, so no feed of the very different looms ;) and nothing listed as heated for the model

I do not know as I wasn't really interested in the new 1200's when they came out and my 1150GSA was my happy place!. The 1200GSA it seems did have a heated seat option, but the one I have did not have one when I purchased 2 years ago.

Interesting, there is nothing listed as a std part, or as a retrofit

Sargent do heated seat option, I have one on mine. One of the element wires broke and I did a repair. However I also contacted Sargent and I think they were around £300 for one.

Drop Jordan a message and ask about the 22% that they offfered me.

A friend of mine made a heated seat using an old car heated seat pad. Stripped the seat cover, added the pad and a powered it via a relay. It was on or off but it wouldn’t be too difficult to include a switch from a heated jacket or something to get variable heat. Just a thought if nothing comes up. Get a secondhand seat to give it a go.
