Does anybody have a recommendation for a BMSK repairer and some idea of cost? Or is a second had unit worth a go? Would I be better off with a new one £££?

SO what is the Model and Year of the bike and the problem ??Does anybody have a recommendation for a BMSK repairer and some idea of cost? Or is a second had unit worth a go? Would I be better off with a new one £££?

Bike is a 2010 1200 anniversary twin cam gs 115,000miles. Used GS 911 for checking. It has had various odd intermittent symptoms for a couple of months, always starts. Oil level sensor not reading, replaced and worked on the next ride, then stopped. When checked out of the bike it does switch. Tickover, sometimes it will and then it doesn't, Tps sensor changed. When its on the gas it seems to be going ok ... Lambda sensors both giving odd readings, now number 2 is consistently not responding, swapped over and still same fault and another known good one is the same. Looms from Lambda plugs to BMSK plugs checked out ok with multimeter and with a 12v bulb. GS911;- Fault Code Description CAN-bus error: No communication with ANY of the other control units, this keeps recurring. But if I do an individual function check everything gives me a reading? The oil level sensor says not responding. So everything seems to be checking out ok up to the BMSK.SO what is the Model and Year of the bike and the problem ??
Is it definitely the BMSK??
Thanks for all the responses. You have been very thorough
I am wondering about a broken wire on the CAN High / CAN Low ?? Or a failure inside a Module or at the termination ?
The Bulb was a good call LEDs can show a positive when its bollixed
Body control usually fail altogether or a particular circuit rather than intermittently Which makes me think broken wire or a break induced short ?
This sounds similar to a faulty TPS sensor. If you search for that you will find folks reporting same, stalling when coming to a stop.It has nearly had me on the floor a couple of times coming to a halt when it abruptly loses the tickover and stalls, short legs don't help, but it has always fired up straight away.

My single cam has done it in the past and I am fairly confident that taking TPS apart and giving it squirt with contact cleaner and rotating it with a flat blade screwdriver to clean up the tracks has improved it.
Replacing it is another option.
For info this is the reply to my query with ecu.deI've also used ECU.de as mentioned above. In the first instance, contact them with what you've said here abut the bikes faults and they may be able to give you some things to check before sending the unit to them for testing/repairs.
They have a member of staff I spoke to on the phone who speaks excellent English.
Just an FYI, I may have contributed in the past with what I thought was a compatible HELLA part but when I received mine although the part looked identical and careful install the bike just revved to full throttle when started. I don't know if it was wrong part or out of box failure but I cleaned the old one and put it back.I replaced my BMW item with a compatible Hella item, if you do a forum search you may find the threads that cover the tale with the Hella part number.
I fell into that trap recently.Just an FYI, I may have contributed in the past with what I thought was a compatible HELLA part but when I received mine although the part looked identical and careful install the bike just revved to full throttle when started.
