On an American parts site it describes my R1200GS as
10-13 K255 what does K255 mean ?

K255 is BMW's internal model designation, for the avoidance of doubt

Thanks for the info another question ?
How do you fond out when the bike was manufactured ?
Obviously the registration has nothing to do with the manufacturer date mine was registered in Jan 2012
So I'm making the assumption it was manufactured in 2011 is it on the V5 (I'm on holiday so can't check)
Or can you decipher it from the vin number ?
Been out on my G's 5 times now and I'm just loving the bike more and more its a million times better than the Suzuki v Strom dl100 that I just sold.
Love the triple black colour
