Hi newbie here but have had a few old classics in my time, I have aquired a pair of K75's. Both have poor starting / running issues but that will be for another day. My main issue right now is a leaking fuel tank off the K75RT.
There are a couple of pinholes on the right hand side ( and looks like bubbling paint on the left lower corner, so trouble brewing)
My question is, can anyone recommend a welder to patch repair these, please? I'm near Gravesend, Kent or alternatively Sawston, Cambridge.
So fay I've taken the tank off the bike and hosed it out with tapwater- there was a bit of crusty rust in there- I was planning to purge the tank in a few days by car exhaust.
I would post a pic of the tank but not sure how!

HA ! i bogded a 75 with a leaking tank on the lhs , at the lowest point. i used araldite IIRC , bloke rode it round (30k ) in 3 years , wasn't leaking when he sold it.

his tank was alli , is yours steel ?

Remove the tank internals and take it to a car/vehicle radiator workshop. Had similar with a mates K75 and had the pinhole tig welded by the guys who replace radiator matrix daily.
Did not cost alot either.

Sound advice, Kirby. My local radiator workshop didn't want to touch it (!) but put me in touch with a welder in Rochester who welded it up once he was sure I'd purged it reasonably well....
Now about those poor running issues....
