When I throttle off and I have light contact on the handlebars I get a wobble on the front end, increase the grip only lightly at it disappears, any ideas?

The tyre pressure is spot on.

Have you any play or notchyness in the steering head area?

Any play in the wheel bearings?

Is the front wheel tightened properly?

Are you sure the fork oil has been changed recently and to the correct levels?

Calling mikep, could it be the fluid block steering damper?

steve

Probably your steering head bearings need tightened up

My foreman told me about this bloke who came in on an X7 when he worked at the suzuki dealership a thousand years ago

Bloke said "If I take my hands off the bars they wobble !"

My foreman fixed it quick

He said "Don't take your hands off the handle bars then!" Simples :aidan

Seriously tho slightly too loose steering head bearings pop into mind

I'll go with the steering bearing adjustment being slack or the bearings being worn. The Fluidbloc affects the steering in a different manner Steve.
