Only riders with really short legs actually need the low low seat. One foot on a footrest and one on the floor is more than adequate for supporting the bike. The "down" foot does not even need to be flat & in the UK that's usually impossible on the left due to road camber. I use the right leg 90% of the time and have no problems.
I cant get both feet flat but its none issue. I never try to paddle the bike backwards and I never climb on or off without the side stand being down. The need to have both feet flat is little more than a comfort blanket supported by seat makers selling low low planks. If flat down feet really is important, sell the bike and buy a cruiser.
By all means try one but get it cheap and sell it on later for someone else to try.
