shit fueling @ low rpm , once it hit 3k started to move a bit , when the turbo got going , the speedo needle, moved like a tacho needle .
owner had new tyres brakes and proper s/arm bearings , it didn't weave at all ( std ones weave in a straight line )
i saw *50 mph on the clock ( but remember it's a Kawasaki clock ) so maybe *30 mph really. i ran out of bottle ... before road. ( customers bike )
i remember reading about them when i was young , thinking , i'd never get to even see one , let alone ride one.

This thread needs a bit more love.
Some fabulous looking bikes there Paul.

Many years ago I worked at Daytona motorcycles in Ruislip Manor.
Sold two ZIR bikes one day.

Owned one myself.
The workshop fitted a Magnum turbo and ARD magneto for me.

Shortly after it melted the pistons.
Engine rebuilt and it done it again.

So it got converted back and sold.

Must have been about 47 years ago.

Never been a Kawasaki fan. The build quality never seemed as good as either Honda or Yamaha. The green one looks good though.
