Always been a 80’s Kawasaki fan (my first bike was a AE50) with many Kawasaki’s of various capacities over the years. These are my lottery bikes 🤞🏻🤞🏻.IMG_3101.jpegIMG_3090.jpegIMG_3076.jpegIMG_3016.jpegIMG_3081.jpegIMG_3079.jpeg

This is my favourite, a 78 Z1R with the 3.4 gallon tank and 18” front wheel the 79 Z1R mkII was the better bike withe the bigger fuel tank, stiffer frame and 19” front wheel IMG_3079.jpegIMG_3080.jpegIMG_3130.jpegIMG_3129.jpegIMG_3128.jpegIMG_3127.jpegIMG_3126.jpegIMG_3125.jpeg

shit fueling @ low rpm , once it hit 3k started to move a bit , when the turbo got going , the speedo needle, moved like a tacho needle .
owner had new tyres brakes and proper s/arm bearings , it didn't weave at all ( std ones weave in a straight line )
i saw *50 mph on the clock ( but remember it's a Kawasaki clock ) so maybe *30 mph really. i ran out of bottle ... before road. ( customers bike )
i remember reading about them when i was young , thinking , i'd never get to even see one , let alone ride one.
