Kayak around Dursey Island

Liking your site.

How do you find the Fusion? I heard they're a fantastic boat on the sea especially with the skeg down, but can be a mare to get back into if you fall out ?

The Fusion belongs to my mate Quinlan, he likes it as he does river and sea, but it is a compromise and my 12' heritage all round recreational boat was a lot easier to paddle. But would be crap in white water, neither of us were using sea kayaks, but both of us were happy with our boats.

That would pull the arms clean out of me Richie. I'd say it gives a whole different perspective of the land though. Interesting stuff. :thumb2

Thanks for the comment Aidan, yes the land looks very different from the sea. The paddle is a rhythm thing and if you get the tides right it aint too bad, but I did sleep well that night:thumby:

Enjoyed that Richie. Kayaking is great fun in calm water epecially in a Fjord but the kyaks look very tiny against the sea. Well done and thanks for posting.:aidan
