People,
I always wanted a GS ever since I saw the new air head black yellow one in bike magazine, suppose about 20 years ago.
I've got my 1150 and it's great. 2 years, absolutely fine. It really is. 32K no worries. It's my 32nd bike.

I part exed my HD Dyna Wide Glide for it. Now for some reason that bloody thing has a hold on me and I keep thinking about the thing. Why? It was slow, could not lean to the right with out grounding out. Noisy and basic. Couldn't carry much, 2500 service intervals. Like most of us of a certain age, most of my bikes have been Japanese and are superb in my opinion. Especially these days.
I am amazed at the braking on the GS, the ability to stop at speed without dipping and the way it flies down the motorway considring its shape. Plodding through town through traffic etc. the list goes on.

This is my 3rd BM, 2 K's were previous, managed 180,000 on one and way over a 100,000 miles on the other. Both sold and still run today.
So, BM make a good bike no doubt and I'd be a fool to change back to a HD.
Probably couldn't afford to anyway!

So please, if you have time give me reasons to keep my GS as there's nothing wrong with it.

Cheers all,
Butler.

I think you've said it yourself.

Hmmmmmmmmmm
Cos when the weather is crap you will still ride your GS which you won`t if get a Harley. More riding = more fun :thumb

Because we all know a GS looks best when its dirty so you'll spend more time riding and less time polishing... you know it makes sense ;)

'Cos,

If you are going to suffer by association, with a GS you only have to explain Ewan & Charlie as opposed to leather frills and ass-less chaps! :ymca
