Ive just fitted a pair of oxford muffs that i brought on e aby for £25 (this is an all in price including postage

to fit them on my 1150 gs adventure,
- i unscrewd the handlebar end screws
- wrapped the muffs over the hand guards
- pulled them back so the front of the hand guards were tight against the mitts
- then spiked a hole through the muffs where the bar end screw hole is
- screw the bar end bolt in, making sure the washer sits above the muffs so you dont tear the muffs
- strap the straps up and away you go !

Ive found they are sooo warm and cosy - i didnt even have to have my bar heaters on.

and of course you will keep you hands dry in the rain.

here si a link to the company who i got mine from - the usual rrp is £35 and as i say i got mine for £25 all in and a delivery of only 2 days. . . fast !

link to e bay here

Givi Muffs fur lined and fit with handguards on. Had to take them off today while the bike went in for a service and warranty replacement of left hand switchgear.
Bloody cold without them.

I have seen the Oxford muffs and I think the ones that Steptoe sells are much better quality and have the added advantage of being removed without the need for unscrewing anything on the bike.

You can get them from either Steptoe, or for more cash you can get the same product from BMG Scooters. Links to both here - http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php?t=57979

Oxford muffs are absolute shite, gaps everywhere, they don't fit properly, and you have to take mirrors off to fit . I've got 2 pairs here, one unused you can have for £5 -

Tucanourbano are the best muffs i've ever used ( and i've been using muffs for years) Fantastic quality ( even down to the bag tokeep/store them in) several different choices of fitting, no need to remove any parts to fit . and a good price , you want muffs part number R319, i sell them for £28, BMG sells them for £33.

Go the whole hog and fit a Gaucho leg/body cover ( also known as a "shite bag ") and be nice and snug.

Shite bag :thumb Don't mock it till you've tried it - it even has infatable sections

I'll give Mr Steptoe a thunbs up :thumb for the quality of his muffs. Chilly today (as those in the UK know), but toastie hands with summer gloves, heated grips on one, and Mr Steptoe's Muffs.
