I'm a bit gobsmacked. I was browsing Adv Rider and I opened a thread from a Californian guy who I knew had gone to live in Paris. There was a link in his first post to the Scottish pub in Paris where he'd gone to watch todays' Moto GP. So I clicked on the link for the Auld Alliance pub and......

And more. Steve was a conservatory salesman for CR Smith and he was a bloody good one so he was absolutely rolling in it..... He was also a hell of a nice guy.
