keeping phone dry using connect cradle

Hi All,
I'm using a connect cradle for my phone and was wondering how people keep their phones dry

I would use a rugged, waterproof phone and keep my main phone in my pocket

I find that the screen protects it against all rain whilst riding

Remove it when stopped
