Keis heated gear, help please

Puzzled! I’ve connected my Keis heated gear to the battery. Firstly with the positive terminal on the exterior then with it on the main terminal having pulled the battery out. Nothing. Doesn’t work on two separate gloves or on the jacket, all of which worked perfectly on my XR. Swapped the cables and fuse for new ones, still nothing. Any idea??

Where are you earthing it to or are you going off the two battery terminals?

Have you run a meter or anything across the terminals on the connection plug to the gear. Sounds like a broken wire/ lead etc

I connected ours exactly the same. Negative terminal on the battery, live cable next to the battery. Two cables for two separate jackets. Works fine. Hav u tried it with the ignition on?

My wife’s controller broke, luckily she just took mine until I bought another, might be worth a whirl.

Positive is I believe the middle of the plug. If there's any electronics involved and the polarity (+ & -) is connected the
wrong way around it won't work.

2amp provides fuses were blowing. Put a 7.5 in. Fixed
