BMW GS boots bought used from a fine gentleman in this parish! And were excellent for my ride down to Senegal and Guinea last autumn, let’s see how they cope with the Caledonian climate
. Super comfortable though.Weather not looking to bad. Fingers crossed. I think I'll still be travelling in winter gear though.

I'll be making my way via Newcastleton for coffee at Mollies, meeting up with some pals there.Ill be making my way up from warrington Friday, via hawes,Middleton in teesdale, Alston, then heading over to Carlisle way to meet up with @bazman on the way up. Im a newbie to everyone apart from Baz.
Then over the tops to Jedburgh, through there and take a right to Kelso.
I'll be checking into The Cross Keys late afternoon.

Looks like the Newcastleton route will be popular. I'm also heading that way - avoiding the motorways and duals wherever possible then up to the North Pennines and Alston, Newcastleton, etc.
