From experiance, if you have a booking at a hotel, then generally they will aim to get you booked in for a mealApologies if already been discussed, but where are we eating? The Ednam seems okay, but sounds like there might be a few of us??

im happy to eat there if there is no where else available
It’s quite a while back, but I think a mate and I had a night in this pub when we went to the bike show at Kelso. If it is, the food was good back then (and the beer), but I’ve no recent experience.The pub we're meeting in seems to have food? No idea what it's like

She’s ok, at present (bedridden and non verbal though, going downhill slowly) but we have her house sold and the clearance is proving time consuming and the buyer is pushing hard for an early completion, so muggins here is doing it all and I have been there all week so far (4 tip runs yesterday)
So that has taken over at the moment
Once it’s completed I will have more time
I did think about altering the booking to Sat night - but have help coming on Sat daytime (see post above) and had to make a choice sadly
