Now moored up at the Borders Events Centre, Springwood Park, Kelso TD58LS. Anyone passing ... through the entrance, turn right. On my own back of the office and large sheds. Dark grey VW T5 with fixed high roof, Reimo conversion. Fridge and kettle on. Where's everyone drinking? Will take a walk in to town later

I turned off the A66 near Scotch Corner behind 2 GS’s with luggage, and even though probably 100 miles away, I thought they might be heading here. We parted company in Staindrop, but they could have used a different route of course.

Good ride up from warrington, via Yorkshire Dales and then, Middleton in teesdale to Alston.. jeeeezus it was windy over the top, cleared up lovely for the ride over from meeting Bazman at Brampton to kelso.
Well if you want a route that's interesting to say the least
Take the A701 out of Moffatt towards
Edinburgh, and take the unammed road that
runs down the side of Talla reservoir
The spillway & overflow are amazing, as is the
continuing route. You see a thin track cut into the side of the mountain
Yes your going up there, blind bends, passing spots on the drop side of the mountain, water running across the road. And on coming traffic
I'll see if I can get the video up lol
