Kenwood 3201 shows permanent green receive light?

Hi - I fitted my Autocom yesterday and connected the SPA unit to my Kenwood 3201 via the correct cables from Chainspeed. With power on the Kenwood shows a green light permanently - it changes to red when I press the PTT or the transmit switch on the radio but then goes green again. The same happens with my second radio - both of which work fine when not connected via the Autocom. I am suspecting the lead from the SPA to the radio - but would welcome any ideas as I have not used an SPA before and it has a lot more vox and volume controls than I am used to.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Problem resolved - caused by inadvertently using an pre 2009 Kenwood battery adaptor with a post 2009 Autocom base unit. Th sold unit delivers straight through power - 12v for the newer units - caused problems with the receiver hence the green light!
