Sold Kenwood DNX516DABS double DIN ICE unit with VW T5 loom.

Removed from my 2012 VW California Beach - unit was an upgrade and is dated 2016.

All singing and dancing model in excellent working order and it comes with the accessory wiring loom to plug straight into the OEM VW T5 (maybe other VW's too?) loom.

Is this a direct replacement, does it slot straight in?

Hi - sorry for delay - yes, double DIN so slots into the same size.

It has Nav, DAB, Apple Car Play, Bluetooth etc.

These are styled to fit in with VWs and although it came with a T5 I if you have a T5/5.1 (possibly 6 too - not sure) then the accessory loom plugs right in and ties into the VW steering wheel controls etc. I believe it will fit other models but you will need to check this.

Please see pictures for exactly what is and is NOT included.

The accessory loom fits into the VW OEM loom the same as the original RCD310 factory unit.

It does NOT include the aerial (digital or FM) or a Bluetooth microphone as these have remained with the vehicle but these should be easy to find on eBay as accessories to fit.

To be absolutely honest it's just total overkill for me! Maybe I'm too old now but in general I just pootle along listening to FM especially in France etc so I've bought the ultra basic OEM RCD 310 to pop back in hence selling this.
