Kerry airport Parking (bike)

Favour.... be back from India on 6 march then need to fly to UK on 8 march for a friends memorial service. Anyone near kerry airport where I could park my bike as I have nowhere at the airport to leave my gear.

Usually closed by wind or fog! I used to fly there regularly and it was only 50/50 in winter months.

The link posted does nothing to prove your opinion that it is closed 50% of the time in winter. It may happen occasionally but I think you are mistaken.

If I was offering a proof then it wouldn't be an opinion now would it, it would be a fact

The "fact" is that this excuse for an airport was built in an exposed location with Cat 1ILS and at the time could only gather enough passengers for a few turboprops - it felt like a bloody lottery (in fairness they work hard to keep it going but it's location choice is almost as bad as Corks fog magnet).

don't mind leaving bike at airport, the problem is where to leave the boots and lid. Might end up driving just need enough time to re tax and insure the scooby

Just back, Kerry airport are very good, if you email them before you go they will look after your gear for you. Excellent.
