The run over through the Sperrins from Draperstown to Plumbridge is rather good too.

I've not done that stretch so it's a yes from me.

If you leave Larne at 3-15pm you will be in Kesh by 6pm, or a little after if you stop along the way.

Enjoy the run and we'll see youse all there.

What about the longer route on the way across to Kesh and "invert" the shorter route for the ride back to the ferry?

Also, for cheapskates (like me) there's a Morrison's petrol station in Stranraer

Well shall see If I'm using routes created by someone else & I still get 'route calculation' error I presume it's my unit or mapping

Put a new Garmin power lead on today so we'll also see if that solves the intermittent power loss
