I might do this trail on Saturday, and try and find some other lanes/trails in the district whilst at it.

Anyone fancy it? Just testing the water.....Nobbies required I imagine...Twat suits optional...:augie

Steve
have a look on the lakes web site and you will find all the lanes that you can do, but they limit groups to 6 in size :)( good idea) if you ask me.. but watch out some are tricky;)

If you mean the one from Threlkeld to Dockray, it's fairly easy going. Some steep sections with hardcore sized rocks as infill, but your main issue will be the walkers & cyclists. It's a really popular route for both of these groups & others use it to go parascending off Clough Head. Last time I was around there, there was a TRO on it due to 4x4'd going further & further out around a boggy secion, until there was about 100ft wide section of ruts. Mind you, it was a few years ago.

Have you checked out the LDNP websites? They have a section for BOAT's/UCR's & you can download the list of available greenlanes.

Have a great time.

Cheers Paul :beerjug: Will check the web sites out..

I was on it last year around May time the lane was easy enough for most folk
I was told that the local TRF had got on at the local council for so long that they had repaired the boggy section with a few hundred tonne of stone
there is as you say good use of the road by others so watch out for them and be a happy smiling trailrider as we know you are
ride safe have a great time :thumb2
