Keying Help

Having just aqquired a new-to-me topbox, I wanted to key it to my bike, same as I did the panniers,
Phoned Motorworks on Friday, informed topbox key n barrel repair kit was different to pannier/seat kit, but they could supply and had em in stock...Great.
Kit arrived today.......
Same as pannier/seat kit.......Bollox.........
Back on the phone........
No sir that wont fit, send it back, but BMV dont appear to do a kit for the topbox ?????


BOLLOX.........

Anybody help, done the swop, know different ???

P.S Not having a go at MOTORWORKS use em quit a bit n always find em really
helpfull and very pleasant to deal with.

Not on a GS sir!

I was told exactly the same about 12 mths ago, but no one seemed to know why!

Nope - mind you they're shit so do yourself a favour an get rid

If it's the same as mine (semicircular back, hump on top), it originates from the 'K' series and can't be keyed to a GS ignition key. Sorry.
