Keyless option question

£245 for keyless ride, but still need a key to remove panniers and seats !!

I think keyless ride will just complicate matters, especially when it goes wrong.

You forgot to include the Sat-Nav....it also needs a key!

Went to the dealer today, and my bike has arrived.:clap But, keyless was missed off the order.:blast As the option code wasn't on BMW's system at the time of order, it had to be manually added. They obviously ignored that at the factory.

They're trying to source another in time for the 13th, as I'm off to France, but we'll see.:augie

I like the keyless on my car and as I use the GS locally like a scooter it would be great for the popping to the shops stuff... That said those trips normally involve chucking something in the Givi.

Not a problem on the last Givi as I could leave it unlocked on the latest yellow (go faster one) that's not an option. Keyless needs to be everything or not at all IMO

I would, especially as the new bike is only partially keyless & you'll need a key for the seat & topbox, so 2 things to carry instead of one

Keys are good :)

Yeah but no but Johnny its the latest must have Gizmo :blast. Wont be around long enough to worry about being out of warranty.

As impressive as central locking on the RT :augie

I use the central locking on my 1600 quite often. More often than I thought I might, certainly.

I have though never used the alarm nor the remote keyfob arming thing.

Carry on....
