Keys

Good Luck!!

All i can say guys, is GOOD LUCK!!!

I'm in total agreement with you all that the situation sucks, and BMW need the point making....

I (like many) have engaged in direct email contact with BMW UK to express my displeasure (read, downright anger) at the "amended" excuse for a toolkit, the key issue etc etc....

after appx 6 sets of correspondence... the overall message i got..... perhaps un-surprisingly was:

BMW UK reserve the right to change specification without notice, and as such they stand by their decision, after much customer research, to remove the tools from the toolkit etc etc.....

Basically...they're not interested in the slightest....

A disgrace if you ask me!

Rant Over.....

Good luck guys... hope in this case "David beats Goliath" but somehow, i think it's unlikely to be the case....

People power only goes so far!!!!

> The plastic key won't get you home, as it has no immobiliser transponder in it.

Well, mine will get me home. Just tried it, it worked. So I guess at least mine has a transponder in it.
