I Fancy changing my tail pipes and looking at Khrome Werks HP-Plus 4.5's. Any of you lads used their exhausts ?
Spoke too Big Si and he says I can fit different makes to my Vance & Hines power duel headers.

Thanks Doc

Looks like i will be the first to try them.

I've been told I should maybe get a remap after fitting tail pipes and different baffles. Any thoughts as I've no idea I do have a vance & hines fuelpak. Obviously I'll give it a run to see how it is but rather it be running right.

I've got an FP3 and, if I remember correctly, if your pipes/mufflers aren't listed in their available maps, you can email V&H for their nearest recommended match.

There's this

Great thanks Malcvtr. I must admit I don't know how to use it.

Well at least I'm honest.

I'll have a watch. Cheers Si.

Two bloody brackets preventing me from putting tail pipes on.

Vance & Hines back on. Two week delivery which means a month.

Just waiting on Baffles now.
Hopefully arrive before my next trip.

I had a set on my 1200 custom sportster. They were LOUD and there was little option to wearing plugs whilst riding. If removing the CAT (which on mine was within the OE exhausts) you definitely need to alter the fuelling . I used a SE pro tuner module and took mine to be properly set up on the dyno. With the Khromewerks and SE air filter, plus using the SE pro tuner, I got an extra 10BHP and about the same increase in torque, raising it from 72BHP to just over 80 and with about 74 lbs ft of torque. It made a huge difference to running and it went pretty well and fuelled brilliantly, more importantly, it ran a little cooler as it wasn't running so lean most of the time. However, they were very anti-social and way above what I would want on any bike now. Just too loud which made longer trips a bit of a chore.

See how it goes with the setup I have. Plus I have baffles to put in.
