All in all a great trip full of new adventures!
I was very wary of stray dogs in Bosnia, Serbia, Bulgaria and Romania yet ended up running over a fast cat in Bulgaria!
Lots of stork nests on top of phone poles in the villages.
I only ever carry a copy of my V5C and North Macedonia only let me in 100m. to do a u-turn and leave as they weren’t happy with my copy. Bulgaria weren’t very happy either but they let me in – their roads are shit though!
Loads of stories and photos I haven’t shared and places visited I don’t ever need to go back to.
There were no service stations on the Romanian motorway I was on – a big tank is handy here!
Tyres still have decent tread on them; I topped up the engine oil once; rear brake master cylinder also required a top up (for some reason).
I’m not sleeping in a small tent ever again – it got dumped at Assen!

Many thanks to all who travelled with me.

I had all the miles lined up perfectly vertically and I then posted it and it's now appeared a mess!

C'est la vie!

I'm home, showered changed and now weary.

I am stuck at home for the foreseeable Ian ,, so I PARTICULARLY enjoyed riding along with you , thanks for taking the time to post !

Thanks for posting all this its been an interesting read.. I've dipped in and out of it and not read it all as we were away on our summer jaunt at much the same time (Germany, Austria, France).. As a special treat I even caught Covid in Austria just to spice the trip up a little...

I'm interested in what tyres you managed to get 8,500 miles out of? Despite riding like a slow thing how come I can only ever get 5K out of mine? I've had metzelers, dunlops, contis... always the same.. Bugger!
