In all I covered 4764 miles and the bike went great (especially on 98 octane E5 petrol).

I came across some great hotels in great locations by pure chance.

I got caught in two thunderstorms but only got soaked the once ( very lucky).

Thanks to all of you who were with me on this trip.

When I start tour 2 in August I don't know whether I'll do a live report or type it up when I'm home (as I usually do) as, after a long hot day in the saddle, I sometimes don't feel like sitting at a computer typing.

I'll see.

I have 2 x 2 weeks in Sep and Oct, hopefully to croatia, dump bike, then back.

Ill write them up honest
