Khyam tents ?

Take down the porch and push the excess into the main body of the tent. Coolapse poles of main tent, one by one and gather them up in the middle. Lay the gathered-up poles on their side. You'll probably find you have a bulk of tent at one end. Spread this along the length of the poles and roll the tent up.

It never looks pretty but the bag is plenty big enough to accomodate a bolloxed packing

Just make sure when you take it out again none of the poles are twisted or any tent caught up in the joins

Bought a khyam Nimbus about ten years ago. No problems still going strong.

Khyam chosen for bike as wieght not such an issue but speed and simplicity of erection is important. There is no need to peg out just for overnight stops, just pop it up, throw kit and yourself inside and sleep. Saddle to s/bag in 20mins. Means you can just keep going that extra half an hour, knowing I can throw tent up in two minutes in the dark.

Nimbus model chosen for double joints on legs making it shorter when packed.

It's withstood some pretty windy conditions and although it bends like hell it just pops back again with no damage.

Definately one of the best bits of camping kit I have ever owned

Bought one

I took Judge's recommendation and just bought a Khyam Mckinley this afternoon.
Put it up in the back garden (as you do)... even I managed it... though not quite in the 2 minutes they advertise, but pretty quick.. practice should make it quicker.

One question... I know I don't have to proof the seams (as they are all taped) but I need to proof the canvas pegging points (from the inside)... anything else does anyone know?
