Looking at reviews, specs and prices, i'm finding it hard to see why the Klim Adventure Jacket comes at a sky high price compared to a Badlands.
Adventure reviews don't like the zip lock vents, which apparently come undone regularly, and they appear to be a lot smaller than on a Badlands, leading to poor airflow, which is a concern for me.
The neck collar system on the Adventure also comes in for some negative comments, flappy, fiddly and uncomfortable's been mentioned.

For those that have them, and may have looked at both before buying either one, what are your thoughts between the two?

Not had the Badlands, but have had the Adventure for a few years, used in Spain & Morocco, with temperatures in the high 30's, still going to be hot, whatever your wearing, but ventilation is okay for me. I like the neck collar system, but then I do wear a leatt collar and I don't know of any other jacket that caters specifically for it, also, when its really hot I zip off the collar entirely. Not crashed it it, but its well constructed.
