Upgraded my vented jacket to a KLIM Baja S4 and I’ve been so impressed with it that I decided to go for the pants as well (which I managed to buy at a discounted price) Whilst their design, make up and choice of both venting and protection materials is superlative, they don’t fit me and they’ve been sitting looking at me for a few months now. The waist is fine, but my ahem …… sparrow’s legs as my wife calls them, mean that there’s just too much material. So if you’re a size 54 Regular and have chunkier legs, then might just be a bit of a bargain.
Mixture of the same fabric as the Marrakesh, plus high tenacity mesh and super-fabric reinforcements on the knees. D30 Super thin armour etc, etc. You can read what the Twat in the Hat has to say here, but I kind of disagree that these are too specialist. With super lightweight windproof layer and a lightweight gtx waterproof, the KLIM is more or less all I’ve been using this summer and that includes a trip to France/Germany. Properly vented, yet fully protective gear has now become mainstream gear.
KLIM is simply superb gear and if you’ve not tried it, the I recommend you do
£250 posted UK mainland. Just a wee bit cheaper than Motolegends me thinks!
Cheers,
Mark
