I'm considering buying a Klim balaclava to get me through the winter months.
I see they do 2 different sorts.
Any benefits to buying the more expensive one over the cheaper* version.

*Cheaper of course being a relative term.

Adventure Bike Warehouse in Manchester/Salford at the KTM Centre in Hemel Hempstead (I think) are Klim dealers. The Klim website may reveal others

Thanx chaps.
I'm not having a problem sourcing them, just determining whether the more expensive one is worth the extra cash.

I've been looking up the prices of Klim balaclavas and whatever variety you choose, they are bloody expensive. I've ordered a £2.99 alternative off eBay which will suit me I guess, especially as the older I get, the more a fair weather rider I've become.

Hello just joined this forum, I bought the Klim Covert Balaclava (the dear one) about a week ago and must say it does work very well and is very comfortable.

No, I wanted as much protection as possible and thought this was the best option :thumb

Fairley do's. Sounds like a plan then. Thanx again.

Very jealous of your location BTW, love Ross on Wye.

I bought a BMW branded "Silk" (it's not, it's synthetic) balaclava for about a tenner months ago.

It was 6 degrees yesterday so I decided to wear it and was amazed at how comfortable and warming it was.

Expensive isn't always best.
