Connecting Zip?
I recently brought a Carlsbad jacket and once home I thought I would use the connection zipper to attach my Latitude Pants when I discovered the 2 zips were different handed. The question is have you used the connecting zip successfully. I found the Jacket was fitted closing right to left (viewed from rear) and the Klim pants left to right. Also the jacket zip tab was on the inside against my back which would be very/extremely difficult to use if it did attach to my pants. I'm just interested to know your findings. By way of further research I found all other Klim suits Badlands, Latitude etc I checked at SBS attached left to right with pull tab on the rear/outside.

I have since got a refund from SBS due to this issue but would like to see if Klim are aware of this but the more information I have the better.

I tried on a Carlsbad jacket at SBS a few weeks ago... and noticed that the main front zip is "back-to-front"... so when you start the zip off, the bit you insert into the 'runner' is on the left, not the right, as it normally is. Hope that makes sense. Seemed odd to me... no idea why they've done that...

I've had a couple of Klim suits as prefer the laminate to a waterproof liner.
However, recently I picked up a merlin laminated suit which is much better and cost a lot less.

Yes the zips are back to front, i just thought this was an American thing.
My pants and jacket zip together, but they are both Klim Carlsbad so you would expect them too.

My mate has the Carlsbad jacket and later bought the Badlands pants, they dont zip together either, even though both Klim.

Concur, it's an American, do things differently just to be awkward bloody thing! Good kit though

Have my eye on a nice Merlin Laminate jacket on SBS....

Looks like good, well put together kit.
