Wanted Klim Marrakesh Jacket Medium

I must say , the fitting experience at Motolegends was very impressive ; ring the bell and greeted by a sales girl. You are not permitted in to browse on your own. It’s like being in an old- fashioned tailor’s , where you’ll get recommendations on size ,modifications eg better armour , etc

I’m not sure which version but I’ll get back to you later this afternoon with some photos. It’s as new along with the zephyr inner jacket if you’re interested.

well dont get one just yet as I may have a spare

The sizing on them is unbelievable I am 46 inch chest and ordered the L/XL when it arrived I swear it wouldn't have fitted a slim Italian rent boy so that went back but they are hard to find in stock
I took the chance and ordered the last that Motolegends had which was a 4XL but to be safe just in case the original order had a dodgy size label I have also ordered a inuteq in 2XL ( they are the actual makers of the Macna and it is the one the F1 drivers wear

The 4XL is a reasonable loose fit so I am happy but bruised ego wise having a clothing item that is 4XL
I am somewhere between M and L Rick. Or as you call it “a slim Italian rent boy🤣

Zephyr would be beneficial. Especially as part of the package.
My only criticism of Zephyr, is a lack of built in stash pocket, so that you can stuff the jacket into it self and tuck it away somewhere on the bike.

A bit like my TOG24 Down jacket does tuck into its own chest pocket with a double sided zipper pull. Taking all but a 30 seconds to do so.

I wear size 10/XL gloves or approximately 7”-8” long by 5”-6” wide

The jacket is around 2.5”-3” thick when tucked away.

That's great thanks. I'm only interested in the jacket as I'm sorted for an inner.

I’m trying to understand the Zephyr tbh . I already have ultra thin inner membrane type linings , from previous garments . The Zephyr is just a wind proof polyester , thin layer . Isn’t a Goretex membrane , with superior water impermeability , better ?
Can someone explain ?

It packs up smaller than most GTX stuff - though not all. The Zephyr material is actually waterproof but the seams aren’t taped, so I’d count it as showerproof.

It is there to take the windchill factor away at temps bellow your personal comfort, (early morning, late evening, or when let say riding at a higher altitude/fores areas, especially convincing, when riding in full mesh kit such as Rukka Forsair or Klim Marrakesh. Also as Richardbd saying, it is shower proof, so you shouldn’t get your favourite t-shirt soaking wet.

I wore my Zephyr in La Rochelle on Sunday but last, when post meal evening temperature dropped bellow comfortable (to me) level. I had it folded up nice and neatly, so that it would fit inside my shorts cargo pocket. By doing so:
  • 1. I did not look silly with a bulging pocket.
  • 2 I did not have to carry it in my hands.
The jacket is nice and lightweight, packs small (yet lacking its own stuff sack/pocket and looks casual, without screaming out loud “look at me, I am a biker.”
I am pleased that I have purchased one.

Still looking for a mk2 jacket. :thumb2

FFS! :blast just go and buy one from SBS or Urban Rider. You’ll see the summer out before you’ll find anybody (with your size) whom will make up their mind to part with one, having ridden
a couple of Euro tours and local jaunts, covering 10k* miles, whilst you are sat at home being held back because you can’t justify parting with a few shillings from your savings pot. Put it on a credit card, you’ll get up-to 56 days to pay it back interest free.

You should’ve popped this question. In November, when tossers were in hibernation and not given a single though about their bikes, biker clobber or indeed riding.

* yeah right

I know, I know. But you never know. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: I'm off the end of June so plenty of time used or new and yes, wrong time of year to advertise.

I’m an XL and was offered one within days
Great bit of kit and just wore the Marrakesh down to 16 is ok
Did put a jumper underneath when it dropped to around 14 for a while

There is more chance of getting an offer of XL and XXL on these very pages, than there is for a M or even L.
Just saying. 😜

I know already been asked, but hell don’t you just go buy a new one like the rest of us sad bastards have to do?!
You’ll be pissed off for 5 minutes, but love the jacket happily ever after!!
PayPal 0% for 4 months (£100/month) will soften the blow!!
Alternatively why not start a GSER “Go Fund Me” thread and I’ll start by pledging a fiver. 😬🤣🤣

………..and there’s 2 chances of finding a medium on here. Slim to none………..and Slim’s gone fishin!! 🤣🤣
