Just had a pair of these delivered. The Holy Grail of boots (for me). They’re wide, easy to get into and are light and comfortable.
However, they only have a gearchange pad on the left boot! I didn’t notice this on any of the reviews I watched, nor was it ever mentioned. No problem for my Guzzi Cali and V7. I’ve also got a Laverda and a Guzzi Bobber which are R/H change. I only use these for shortish runs on sunny days.
The boots are perfect for me and I’ve been looking for years and lost a ton of money too, buying and selling, so I really want to keep them
I’m wondering though about the durability of the right boot.
Anyone have any experience?
Thanks.

Back in the days when I wore Derri boots on my Norton Atlas and gearchange pads were unheard of wear on the right hand boot never seemed to be a problem. But then Derri boots were a bit cheaper than Klim....

You can get clip on style protectors to help prevent wear& tear/marking the boot up.

Thanks both.
I think the slip on type of protector wouldn’t last 5 minutes, not with me anyway!
I’m just going to use ‘em and abuse ‘em.
I still think it’s a really strange idea by Klim though.

Hi

I have had a pair of these for about 18 months now and have used them quite a bit and although I have not had to abuse the right boot top they both look in great condition so far. Super light and comfy for all day use. I had actually never noticed the lack of protection to the right boot until I saw this either :blast

I didn’t notice either until I saw a review of the brown boot. Very obvious there!
I haven’t ridden in them yet, foot problem, but they’re super easy to get on and off and comfy right from the start.
