Been keen on Klim gear for a while, however as they are non existent in Turkey and I prefer to try before I buy I've not bothered ordering from abroad. Main reason is that I'm a 5'10" size L with an XL gut....not exactly a fat boy just the proud owner of one of those beer belly things. I've found a couple of places States side on ebay that offer free shipping so I'm thinking of taking the plunge and ordering expensive gear that probably won't fit
I did manage to try a pair of Dakar trousers and the 36 fit me perfectly. I'm probably edging on the 38 side of denim, however my Gap jeans are 36 too...so it must be generous American sizing. I'm assuming the sizing is the same across the Klim pants range so I think I know what I need to order in the pant dept.
Not so sure what size jacket to order though. My large Revit jacket with waterproof & thermal liner is pretty snug, any more layers and I'd be taking short breaths. My large Difi (Spada?) 'adventure' jacket and large Suomy mesh jacket are just damn tight...breath in when zipping up with no room for layers etc. Are the Klim jackets also generous with their sizing...would their large be somewhere between L & XL on a Revit? I know Klim is pretty popular here, grateful for feedback
