…. What is the fit like?
Is it true to size, or do I need to got a size down?

I am looking to wear it on and of the bike.

On the motorcycle: most probably over an armoured shirt.
Off the motorcycle: to wear it as a windchill stopper out in town when touring Europe, for my cycling commute and a general lightweight jacket when I do occasionally do some rambling out in the sticks.

Pretty much on par with Klim sizing

so go for the size you normally would

I would add that it is very very very thin - in effect it is the same as the membrane that is bonded in to jackets so as a stand alone item off the bike could be rather fragile

Thank you Rick.

I’ve slowly over the past few years transitioned from wearing medium sized tops to large. Weirdly enough, I’ve tried on Klim Marrakesh yesterday, and Medium did fit me much better compared to Large. Less baggy and flappy. I have tried this over a Rukka RPS Armoured shirt, without the armour fitted in the jacket. The RPS shirt does come with a fairly chunky elbow and shoulder (level 2) D3O protectors. As well as the large back protector and a chest protector. My thinking is, that I would very likely to be wearing the Zephyr jacket over the armoured shirt, rather than under it. I must add that I am having motolegends to upgrade the Marrakesh D3O Ghost armour to the newly launched D3O Diablo stuff. This armour will also fit (according to motolegends CS team) Rukka RPS shirt. Meaning it will make it a little less bulky overall.
Unfortunately whilst at the sportbikeshop, I completely forgot to try on the zephyr, and I am in no position to travel to the store again just for this purpose, hence the question.
If you are saying that the medium Zephyr will be equivalent in size of a medium Marrakesh jacket, then I trust your judgement on this.

Bought one a few weeks ago in the motolegend sunday sale
XL was too big arms too long. Was luckily able to exchange it for a large
Perfect for me. 46 chest 36 waist
Wore in the mornings over the last 2 weeks of nice but cold first thing weather
Does its job alleviating the wind chill
Packs nice and small
do you want a measurement pit to pit arms etc?

Thank you for the reply.

I’ve unfortunately missed out on that sale.

Yes please to the measurements. Also if you could include the measurement shoulder the to shoulder across the back, then that be great. Thank you.

I’m a large in most things and like you I tried the Klim Marrakesh and found the large too baggy and the medium fitted perfectly so that’s what I’ve bought.

As for the Zephyr, I went for the large as I thought I might wear it over an insulated jacket to keep the heat in.

I can wear the Zephyr over a base layer and it feels ok and wear it over a thick jumper without it getting too snug - I’m a 42 -44” chest if that helps

Had my wife measure me up.

A tight 39.5” chest so minimum 40” garment probably 42” to allow for base garments to be worn underneath.
I am also a 19 ¼”, measuring across my back shoulder to shoulder.

I think I’ll bite the bullet and go for a large. My NEXT jacket is Large, and when worn with a jumper underneath it does fit well, so a Zephyr with armoured shirt underneath should technically be same for size.

Thank you all for your help.

I wear mine off the bike all the time. It hasn’t disintegrated yet.

The material is waterproof too, though the seams aren’t taped, so it’s shower-proof…

I've only just bought one of these ( a bit pricey for what it is)
It does however - do the job so all is good.

I find Klim sizing off to other brands
Im normally an XL in most other brands - but this is only a Large and fits with room underneath
44 chest.

Perfect!

I will then go for medium. I’ve also just realised, that they are stretchy, so if need be, there is a bit of give in the fabric.

Thank you.

44" chest me. Large Zephyr. Works over just a base layer and also enough room/stretch to go over a puffer jacket either on or off the bike. Second best piece of kit - after my buff...

Just bought one 45 inch chest, with a thin fleece goes up to 46 inch, i got an xl, fits loose ish which what i wanted. Large fitted snuggly but put a few pounds on and it would be a different story.
Nice bit of kit for those chilly mornings when you've got a mesh suit on.
If your after a mesh suit check out the klim induction, flows a massive amount of air, that's what I went for.

You are almost my size. 41" chest and 19.5 shoulder. The size M fitted perfectly over a T-shirt, but was right up in my armpit. No way I could fit something under. Over yes. I went for size L. Size M is £75 at the moment at Sportbike shop.

So sounds like L is probably a safer option. Thank you. Yes seen the SBS price. But no L available at that price.
