My Klim Badlands pro main zip has malfunctioned and the only way I could get it to work is to remove two teeth. Does anyone know who repairs or replaces these zips? It is YKK zip and would like replaced with like? Anyone have experience of this greatly received. its a second hand jacket about 8 years old and I love it so don't know if Klim honour lay of this gear? Thanks.

I guess it‘s a standard YKK zip?

Assuming it is, any competent seamstress will be able to measure the zip, order a new one and replace it. Whilst they are some way away from you, Kate at Hideout can do the job. I had her replace a zip in my tank bag and others I know have definitely had zips replaced in all sorts of clothing, always with excellent results.

I am pretty sure there’ll be places in NI, all catering for the repair of road racing leathers, who will do an excellent job of it. It might well be quicker than contacting Klim?

Take it to any authorised Klim dealer/seller and they should be able to sort it out for you.

I'm dropping off my Carlsbad at Motolegends for a zip repair in a couple of weeks.
