Klx 250 not another rebuild

The klx has been standing for a time now I'm thinking its that time I start looking for a project, I've been looking for a classic off roader since I sold my ccm 404 last year I don't know why I sold it I loved that bike,

I've striped it and it's gone to the powder coaters, just waiting on its return.

I'm looking for some one to rebuild the engine, went though Newcastle to the bike shops but I couldn't tie anyone down to a ball park price, I'm not sure if I like to leave the engine in there hands on there terms

Picked the frame up with its nice new coat

Few photos of it going back together replacing nuts & bolts as I go the bearing as well,,,,,I didn't think the parts were going to be as expensive as there are,,,,,I think the 1150gs was cheaper to do than this 250 klx

Engine is still on the bench the rest is complete, my m8 Larry asked me to hold on as he wanted to rebuild this engine with me but thing took a turn for the worst and he passed away few months ago, so I've started the xt600 that's coming along great so I just may start the engine soon after that
