Knob Tape . ADV Tank Bag .

Just fitted a tank bag to a 1150 ADV , the instructions say to stick knob tape on the bottom holding plate

Do you get the knob tape with the bag or do you buy it seperatley
Does it exist or are they having a laugh at The Mill

Is it called knob tape because it's about an inch away from your old man when sitting on the bike

Or is it friction burn proof incase you slide up the tank

They mean velcro.

Small patch sticks on the tank, other piece is on the tank bag holder, it stops the holder falling off when you remove the tank bag to re-fill

Err... it's not exactly velcro....

I'm not positive, but the stuff on my 1200GS looks a lot like the 3M Dual Lock stuff that I bought while in Canada...

On my 1150 tank bag it's velcro. But just use whatever does the job, and is convenient to purchase
